Work Schedule:

• Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Compensation Range: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour based on experience 

Qualifications:

• Prior Dental Assistant experience 2-4 years Required
• Prior experience making crown temps, packing cord, placing matrix bands preferred
• Working experience with Dentrix highly preferred
• Itero camera / Itero scan experience preferred
• Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
• X-ray certification where state regulations specify

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Working Environment & Physical Requirements

This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
