Compensation Range: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour based on experience
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5:30 PM
Our Registered Dental Assistants are an integral member of our team and help foster our clinically led culture. From being the doctor’s right hand, to having the ability to connect with patients, and striving to provide the best patient experience, Dental Assistants are a key contributor to the success of our practice.
Qualifications:
- Prior Dental Assistant experience 1 - 2 years required
- Prior working experience with Dentrix highly preferred
- Dental Assistant Certificate / Registration in CA is required
- X-ray certification where state regulations specify
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
- Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Working Environment & Physical Requirements
This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
